Middle schooler

     Tomorrow i will be able to say 'only one more week till school'! I am so exited but a little nervous too. I have my supplies all packed up in my back pack, my locker com down pat and have toured the school three times.

Chapter Three

     A breeze is blowing in my face, then a gust of wind blows me off the top of the train. I'm screaming, but wait there is a hand! Reaching out for it i grab but my grasp slips, I'm falling, falling, falling. Breathing heavily and realizing it was just a dream i jolt awake. As i get up i realize the door to my cell is ajar. Slowly creeping open the door i sneak out. I make my way down the cold hallway and open the door to cart seven. It was a ballroom! The cabin boy had rushed me in here before but (i must have been to busy talking because) i did not even notice. When i got to the end of the room i saw a ladder (that probably leads to the top of the train) and the door that leads to cart six.
     "Arrgh!" Quickly i duck behind a chest as the door leading from the dungeon to the ballroom bangs open. I couldn't really see who or what dashed out of the door and up the ladder, but i knew it was all black or wearing black. Everything was quiet for a little while, then i heard crashing and yelling from above. The trapdoor slammed open and the captain, a guy in black (wait that is the guy who dashed through the door), and some other pirate or so i assumed came jumping in. "She escaped!" shouted the captain. The guy in black froze looking hurt then said "She wasn't there, captain." "Crazy eye find her already!" The pirate called crazy eye turned around and i saw a fake eye on his left. He started looking everywhere and i don't know if it was luck but he didn't look at the chest. "Don't think she is in here captain." "Well what are ye waiting for? Look somewhere else!" The crew of pirates stormed into the next cart. I waited crouched behind the chest  until i was sure they were at the back of the dungeon. Then i jumped up and silently slipped into the mystery cart.
     Once i was in the cart i realized i was in a coat closet! What is so mysterious about a coat closet? My mind  drifted to the trap doors on the roofs. Maybe there is a secret entrance! Searching every inch of the closet, i finally find a remote. As soon as i picked it up the door behind me and the coats in front of me disappear. The remote is shaped like the letter P and has three buttons. They are all black with white letters on them. First, the one closest to the left is a triangular button with a L on it. Second, the one in the middle  was a square with a B on it. Third, the one closest  to the right is also a triangular button with a R on it. Strangely the third button was glowing slightly. It seemed like i was thinking for hours but i finally decided to push the third button. Something was moving my hair but other than that nothing else happened as a result to pushing the button. Suddenly i was in a whirlwind that was cold and icy. Ten seconds later i was thrown into a cozy room filled with light.
     As i stood up i saw three glowing containers in the middle of the room. Looking in the containers i realized there was one glowing leaf  floating there in each container. I looked around on the container and saw a little door latch. As i start to reach for the latch i hear shouting and yelling coming from behind me. They are probably in the closet room thing. Before they burst through i flip open the latch.

Chapter Two

     If i wake up i will just have to hear my bossy mother tell me what to do. Wait a second, their is a wad of cloth stuck in my mouth! I jolted awake and took in my surroundings. My wrist's and ankles were tied and i was in what seemed a hot, stinky sack. All of a sudden i heard deep breathing. "Gangway!" Clunk,Clunk. "Aye captain." "Pegleg, give me my marlinespike." "Here it is captain." Ssssss, Bump! When i looked up i saw the ugliest man ever. Then to my horror he started to reach towards me and before i knew it he had ripped the gag out of my mouth. "Good morning lass. Pegleg take her to her quarters aft the brute." "Do i drag her?" "No loose her, she can't escape."
     "Tis be it princess." "My quarters are a cell in a dungeon?" "Aye, princess. I must go now the captain will be expecting me." "Great i am locked up in a dungeon aboard the 'brute' whatever that is." "Ye will find out soon, sure enough." "Pegleg the captain wants ye in the dining room." "Just what i was saying." Clunk, Clunk. "Be ye the newbie?" "I guess so." "Good girl, or so i hear, the captain wants me to give ye this sea chest." "What do i do with it?" "Ye put your belonging's in it." "Well i left all my belonging's behind, as you are rudely not noticing." "Didn't mean to be rude and beside i think the captain likes ye." "What 's his name?" "Captain Blackbeard." "Who are you?" "Just the cabin boy, by the way the captain would like you to come to sup with him tonight. Do you accept?" "Well if it is the only way to get food around here i guess so."
     "So where is the dining room?" "On cart five." "You said cart, are we on a train?" "Aye, it's called the brute. Almost forgot, cart six is the mystery cart so i have to take ye above the brute." " Do you mean on top of the train!" "Aye." "We could die!" "Na, I've done it a bunch." "Is there railing up there?" "Here we are , up ye go." "You never answered my question!" "Just go and see for yourself." Fright flooded through me as i climbed up the ladder and pushed open the trap door. Just as i stood up a huge gust of wind blew me off. I screamed and grasped an edge on the side of the train. My left hand slipped and someone yanked me back up on the roof of the train. We remained silent the rest of the way, with me clutching him tightly. Finally we got to the next cart and he slid me through the trap door.
     "Ahoy lass! It upsets me that you won't talk to me." "I have had nothing to say." "Sit down lass." This is the captain? The ugly man that freed me from the sack? "What's for dinner?" "Hungry? It's just stew, nothing like you're used to." "Is that an insult?" "Perhaps. Now quit talking and sup."
     "Why is cart six called the mystery cart?" I instantly knew that i had said something bad because everyone was silent. "Cabin boy take her to her cell." "Aye captain."    

Sorry!

     So earlier i tried to write a book but it did not work. Yesterday i quit writing that book and started writing a new book. I'm not sure what the title is yet but I'll tell you what i have so far.

     Prologue

     "We can ride this stubborn old brute to where the lubbers lie. Then at night we will press-gang(capture in human language) a princess leaving a note t say we took her and will only give her back  for 5,000 doubloons. What do ye all say to this mighty plan?" "Aye, Aye!" " Good, when the sun sets we will be ready."

Chapter One

     "Come in." "Your Highness the queen is wanting your presence in her garden." "(sigh) Ok, I'm coming." "You are exactly forty-seven seconds late daughter." "Sorry mother." 'Princess's are never late." "But mother!" "Quiet! Never mind that, what have you done today?" "Handwriting, posture, dancing, dressing and singing." "Good, go inside. Elsa will fit you for the next ball." "Elsa?' "Yes, the new seamstress. Now go."

     "Ouch!" "Sorry, Crown princess." "Please use a duller needle, Elsa. By the way did you just call me Crown princess?" "Yes, why do you inquire? You are the crown princess after all" "My maids usually call me your highness, that's all." "I am not a maid i am a seamstress." "Well in my point of view the two are almost the same." "No one cares about your point of view crown princess." "How dare you!" "But they don't do they?" "Of course they do!" "How can you be sure?" "I'm not." "Exactly."
     "Mother I'm finished dinning, may i retire to my chamber for the night?" "Yes."
     "Is she asleep?" "I think so." "Do you have the note?" "Ya." "Help me tie her up, and do not forget the gag.' "Can i stuff her in the sack now?" "Whatever, as long as you carry her out to the brute."

new word

So today i was driving home with my mom in the car from flute lessons. I saw a sign that said narrow and i thought that it looked funny. So i decided to invent a word that looked funny. I came up with "Abeaoa" it means explosion in slow motion.  

(sigh), Summer!

     The last week has been very and i mean very crazy but fun. Well Monday we went to this awesome Camp Tamarack with canoeing, high ropes and much more. I realized that i love to canoe and the high ropes are kind of scary but you can hang around, literally! Then Tuesday we went to Mae Stecker for the whole day eating and playing. On Wednesday we v.s. the teachers in softball, tying 9-9. Finally on Thursday (last day) we had this really fun graduation. Next year I'm going to spend my first year in Middle school as a 7th grader.

Flour or Flower?

     Schools almost out! I have to admit though that i am nervous for the lockers next year. My awesome neighbor is going on a fun trip to Alaska for 12 days and she politely asked me if i wanted to have some fun. Who could say no to that? So of course i said, Yes! For the next 12 days i get to have an awesome time watering all of her flowers how fun is that! Well that's all i have to say i guess.

B-day!

     Yesterday was Alex's birthday, and he was one proud six year old. We went to Stoney Creek to celebrate which was really fun.He wishes Granny D and grandma&grandpa john were there so he could say thank you.

Talent Show

     You may not know this but Morgan Elementary is known for there wonderful Talent Show. This year i decided to do the Talent Show with my friend. We danced to one of 1D's songs called "What makes you beautiful." It was a blast and when she went down in splits and i did a cartwheel behind her the crowd went crazy!

Deck in progress

 My dad's parents came out for Drakes baby blessing and we enjoyed them more than a ton! While they were here my grandpa helped my dad build it. They would have finished, but an inspector came and delayed the progress of the deck by giving them a 14 page packet about the deck, saying they have to pay 100$ (which on my opinion is way to much) and obviously "inspect" the holes. I was hoping i would run into the inspector so i could scowl at him but my hope was not accomplished.
   

Happy Feet

I just wanted to mention that today we watched Happy Feet and my feet went crazy. I will be posting a video soon so you can see what i mean.Sorry the video is not working.

Chapter 1

     I had a mom and dad and two brothers. I live in Redding, Connecticut and I love it here. We own a tavern, it had two rooms, a big fireplace, ten tables that can fit five and we served all week and all three meals. We usually served stew, rolls and rum. We serve ham and potatoes on Christmas or Thanksgiving.

     We also own a one story house with three bedrooms, a kitchen and a parlor. Outside we had a barn with a cow, a hen, a pig and three horses. There is a brown horse, a gray horse and a black horse. I am proud to say that one of the horses is mine. Penny, the brown horse is the work horse. Silver, the gray horse pulls the carriage. Midnight is mine, she is black and has a white diamond on her forehead. She is the fastest horse I know.

     My father's name is James and he has brown hair. My mother's name is Martha and she has black hair. George is 16 and has brown hair. Benjamen (Ben) is 15 and also has brown hair. Me, my name is Elisabeth, but most people call me Lizzy. I have black hair just like my mother.

     When I was five my mother taught me how to sew and my father taught me how to sword fight. When I turned six George taught me how to ride. I really love to sew, I have sewn two dresses, four shirts and three skirts. Also I have this awesome sword called the storm blade, well that's what I call it anyway. It has a gold handle with a skull and two swords sticking out of it. The storm blade is two feet long and has a silver blade. I have practiced five whole years and am so good i can beat Ben if we were in a match. 

Whahoo!

I'm so sorry and exited! I'm sorry because I haven't posted for a while.I'm exited because this Sunday is my B-day and I'm turning twelve. I am going to be writing a book now and i hope you enjoy it. Before I start posting it i want you to know that it is taking place in the olden days. Please leave comments on how i can fix the chapters.

Drake

Today i woke up at 8:36 and went down stairs. I was really surprised to see Mrs.Surreals  feeding my siblings. Then i realized what was happening, my mom and dad were not here and if Drake comes we were supposed to go to the Surreals. So that meant that Drake came during the night. Then i felt like i was going to throw up. So here i am sick and only have seen a few pictures of Drake. I can't wait to see him in person.
