Ho, Ho, Ho and a Merry Christmas

Do you have a favorite part of Christmas? Well I do like all of it, but if i had to pick just two parts i would pick one the Christmas spirit and two the stockings. This Christmas i had a blast! I got cool new Mickey and Minne PJ's from my parents, a glass horse and a butterfly from Isabelle and so much more. My favorite present that i got was a tiny donut maker. I have already made a batch of vanilla donuts and coated them with chocolate glaze, it was fun and in the end yummy!

Busy, Busy November

Last night Isabelle (one of my two sisters) and I had our piano recital I was a little nervous while I played my songs and I could tell Isabelle was to. Anyway it was fun and we had refreshments after. Tristan (one of my three brothers) had his birthday party today even though his real birthday is on Monday. His party was based on soccer so we played all the games outside. Then we went inside and had cake and ice cream, after we did presents. My mom made the cake, (it was really cool) it was a chocolate cake and had green frosting for the grass and had miny soccer player figurines so it looked like a soccer field.

Flute

In school we have this really cool music teacher who is going to teach the whole sixth grade including my class an instrument. Our options were bells, clarinet, flute, saxophone, trombone and trumpet. I thought well bells seem to easy I want something with a little challenge. The clarinet seemed to much like a recorder. The saxophone and trombone were to heavy. My friend told me her dad told her trumpet's make your lips bleed once in a while and that scared me so, nope to that to. Then I came to the flute, it had a bit of challenge, was the lightest of our options, does not seem like a recorder, did not make your lips bleed and looked elegant while you played. So of course I picked the flute and now I can play two songs on it and it is fun.

Millionaire young!

It was just a regular day and i was doing my chore, then my dad came in and started telling me this story he heard at work. I almost forgot to tell you, 6th grade is great! It almost beats 4th grade. Well any way the story is about this 12 year old boy (this already had my attention because i am 11 turning 12 in February)  who borrowed a book from the library on how to make apps and followed the instructions and made a app it took him a few months though but still he made an app and sold it on line to about a million people and BOOM! He had a million $'s and was a millionaire. I thought that is a good idea so i asked my mom if she could get a book on how to create apps and she said sure and so now i am beginning a book on how to make an app. It will take me at least 3 months but if i do it successfully i will be a millionaire too.

April Fools!

Today my mom has done tons of April Fools tricks on me and my siblings. In the morning she started telling everyone to do big chores like vacuuming everything and sweeping everything, but when we started to get up she said April Fools! Then when we sat down for breakfast she said stir your milk, so we did and our milk changed different colors like blue, purple and yellow. My mom just said she bought magic milk. Right before lunch she gave us a maze that was impossible to do. About ten minutes before dinner she laid out utensils and she had us pick out are favorite. When we all finished picking she said the two utensils that we just picked out we had to eat dinner with. That surprised us all, even me because I ended up with a slotted serving spoon and tongs. For dessert she said we were going to have a scrambled egg on some ice cream but it turned out to be ice cream with marshmallow and lemon pudding shaped like a scrambled egg. That fooled us all even when my mom told us the truth Alex was to scared to eat it. Well time to wrap up now see you later.
